Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join the UCLA Department of Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics as part of our scheduling team. This is a fully on-site role which is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful interactions with patients, and thrives working in a team-based environment across interdisciplinary teams.

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coordinating patient scheduling for Nuclear Medicine, PETCT, and Theranostics procedures
  • Verifying insurance authorizations & informing patients of the financial responsibility
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation standards
  • Coordinate front-office duties, including front-desk operations, managing office supplies, and processing invoices.
  • Assist in quality improvement projects and other special projects as assigned.

Salary Range: $30.36-43.49/hr.

Job Qualifications

  • Background in customer service preferred
  • Strong computer and typing skills & familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate professionally & effectively across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills, responsiveness, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Background & familiarity with major medical insurance plans preferred
