Client Overview: A premier New York City real estate developer is seeking an
Administrative Assistant to support a large-scale residential lease-up project. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in real estate, property management, compliance, or operations.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $22/hr - $25/hr
Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant will support the leasing and operations teams by processing documentation, maintaining accurate records, assisting prospective residents, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of a major residential development. Candidates should be highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and possess strong computer and customer service skills. Initially, employees will split their time between the Midtown Manhattan office and the Willets Point development in Queens. Once construction is complete, the role will transition to 100% onsite in Willets Point, Queens.
One opening requires fluency in both Mandarin and English.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:- Provide administrative support to leasing, compliance, and property management teams.
- Process applications, resident files, and supporting documentation accurately.
- Perform data entry, record maintenance, and document management.
- Review information for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating applicant communications.
- Answer questions from prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct apartment tours for prospective residents as needed.
- Support clerical projects, reporting, and operational initiatives.
- Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers, documentation, and clerical processes.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and polished presentation.
- Flexibility to work between Midtown Manhattan and Willets Point during the initial project phase.
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:- Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Previous administrative, leasing, customer service, or office support experience.
- One position requires fluency in Mandarin and English.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or another analytical field preferred.
