Adecco has a great opportunity for a Administrative Assistant position located in San Antonio, TX. Pay rates start at $17.00 p/hr.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday- Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm SUMMARY: Provides support in all areas of procurement for the plant andparticipates in the global strategy of the company for procurement operations. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Manager.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills ?
Capacity to perform tasks quickly
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar capacity ?
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using NetSuite strongly preferred but not required ?
Demonstrated experience using an ERP or ordering system is required
Understands and has working knowledge of accounts payable functions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issues purchase orders for warehouse/factory consumables, office/breakroom supplies, and general needs of the plant
Follows up with vendors for documents such as order confirmations, COAs, and digital packing lists/BOLs
Schedules transfers of raw material from 3PL
Liaises with Accounts Payable to ensure invoicing and receipt are accurate and resolves discrepancies with minimal impact to the business ??
Works with vendors, QA, and accounting for returns and credit -?
Interacts with Inventory Control Team and Receiving to assess the needs of the plant
Utilizes NetSuite to adjust POs and receipts and also produce schedules and reports ?
Perform other duties as assigned
