Administrative Assistant
Job Location: West Sacramento, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am-4pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as an Administrative Assistant and enjoy supporting a small collaborative team? Our client in West Sacramento is seeking a dependable and organized professional to provide front office support and assist with day to day administrative operations. This a temp to hire opportunity with long term potential for the right candidate. The position will initially provide front desk coverage while one of the company owners is on vacation, with the opportunity to transition into an ongoing part time role.
Looking for a professional, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a small business environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to provide excellent support across administrative, customer service, and bookkeeping functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and general inquires
- Provide administrative support to company leadership and office staff
- Assist with customer service and sales related calls
- Support bookkeeping and administrative accounting functions
- Maintain organized records, files, and office documentation
- Manage data entry and update within company software systems
- Coordinate schedules, communications, and office operations
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well established manufacturer in West Sacramento, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or Office Management experience
- Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping functions preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using CRM or project management software
- Familiarity with ClickUp is highly desirable; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is also acceptable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
