Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. One year of administrative experience is required. Additional administrative experience may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis.

This is an advanced and administrative work that entails planning, coordination, technical document management and direct interaction with federal and state agencies. Responsibilities of this position include maintaining and organizing complex grant documentation systems required by the Office of Management and Budget, preparing and submitting reimbursement requests to federal and state agencies, routing all grant agreements for execution and legal attestation, creating PowerPoint presentations , research and reports for internal and external stakeholders and supporting the Aviation Grants Manager with a higher level operational tasks. The incumbent of this position will also represent the section by presenting information clearly and professionally to stakeholders and the public when required. Additionally, responsibilities of this position include in monitoring expenditures, coordinating with project managers, and other employees within the organization, processing invoices on a needed-basis and ensuring document compliance with federal, state and departmental requirements.
Airport Security
Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
