St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - North is looking for a positive, organized and team oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Assistant Director of Treatment Services and Competency Restoration Program.
Job Description:
Senior level administrative support position that performs a variety of clerical, printing, and mail related tasks in support of the facility DTS. Employees at this level are required to have a knowledge of the procedures and processes applicable to the performance of the work and to organize their work on a daily or weekly basis by exercising independence and judgment that is greater than lower-level positions. May provide work direction to lower-level positions.
This is a senior-level, specialized executive support assistant position for the Assistant Director of Treatment Services of a forensic adult psychiatric facility working in conjunction with the Competency Restoration Program Director. The job duties for this position include: maintaining, with relative independence, the daily functioning of the ADTS's office in accordance with facility policies and procedures; establishing and maintaining complex, confidential filing systems; maintaining calendars and schedules; coordinating meeting logistics; developing spreadsheets and databases; composing correspondence; attending meetings and taking notes; transcribing written and verbal communication; and preparing standardized reports.
Eligibility:
• Knowledge of the processes and procedures applicable to assigned area.
• Skilled in the operation of office equipment.
• Ability to organize work assignments.
• Ability to provide guidance to other employees.
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
• Must be well organized and to successfully manage work priorities.
• Must possess proficient writing and processional communication skills.
• 4-6 years of experience in clerical or general office support work.
