The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is searching for a Full-Time (100% FTE) faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at the rank of assistant professor in the tenure track. Salary and rank will commensurate with qualifications and experience. The annual starting base salary range for this position is $150,000. Case Western Reserve University considers factors such as, (but not limited to), the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer quality, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. In addition to the faculty base salary, this position includes the opportunity to generate supplemental income through participation in the orthodontic faculty practice plan. Responsibilities will include staffing the resident and DMD clinic and didactic teaching for residents and dental students. Developing a focused research plan that will propel the candidate to national prominence within 7 years. Participation in the faculty practice is optional and can be a significant source of supplemental income. Candidates should commit to the institutional missions in teaching, research/scholarly activity, patient care, service, and organizational quality improvement.
