Associate Account Director, Analytics


Our client, an expanding Chicago-based media agency, is seeking a driven and intellectually curious Associate Account Director of Analytics to join their team. This position follows a hybrid schedule and offers a highly collaborative environment that values balance and flexibility.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic analytics leader embedded within a cross-functional team responsible for planning and execution. You will develop insight-driven solutions that demonstrate the impact of media investments, identify growth opportunities, and help shape forward-thinking marketing strategies. You will also play a key role in promoting the value of media as a driver of business results - both internally and in partnership with clients.

Key Responsibilities


Lead Data-Driven Strategy & Insights

  • Develop and guide cross-channel strategies grounded in advanced analytics, forecasting, and performance modeling
  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable stories that resonate with clients
  • Evaluate audience data ecosystems and advance the use of first-party data strategies
  • Encourage adoption of modern measurement solutions, automation, and marketing technology enhancements


Enhance Campaign Effectiveness

  • Collaborate with data and technology partners to establish comprehensive measurement frameworks (including attribution, incrementality, conversion tracking, and KPI development)
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend data-backed optimizations supported by sound statistical methodology
  • Create and expand automated reporting systems and dashboards
  • Ensure alignment across strategy, activation, and analytics teams to enable seamless sharing of insights
  • Lead experimentation initiatives and maintain structured test-and-learn programs


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience within a media agency, with strong exposure to digital analytics and performance measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and communicate strategic recommendations effectively
  • Deep technical knowledge of analytics tools, tagging/measurement frameworks, data visualization platforms, and attribution methodologies
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement through testing and optimization
  • Experience working with external partners and staying current on industry developments
  • Proven leadership skills, including mentoring and managing junior team members
  • Strong understanding of performance analytics, campaign measurement, and optimization practices
  • Technical aptitude with familiarity across platform analytics and data environments
  • Comfortable working with reporting tools, automation processes, and complex data ecosystems
  • Naturally inquisitive mindset with an interest in emerging tools, trends, and partnerships
  • Confident communicator in client-facing settings, able to present insights and engage in strategic discussions
  • Collaborative and relationship-focused, recognizing the importance of trust and teamwork
  • Self-directed with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to connect media strategy, execution, and analytics through a performance-focused lens
  • Experience advancing measurement capabilities, automation, and audience data strategies across multiple clients

SALARY: $165,000 - $180,000
