We are committed to providing high-quality legal services to our clients while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Position Summary:Swanger Prickett LLP is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join their team in Austin, Texas, dedicated primarily to the firm's corporate and CRE transactional practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transactional law, with a focus on CRE and corporate matters. This position allows for the opportunity for significant mentorship and growth, as the firm relies on an open-door policy. The position also offers significant engagement with clients, early responsibility, and professional development in key legal areas.Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysisDraft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, loan agreements, and corporate filingsAssist in the preparation and presentation of legal argumentsAdvise clients on a wide range of legal issuesRepresent clients in negotiations and transactionsManage caseloads and deadlines effectivelyBillables must be equal to or greater than 1,200 hoursQualifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in the State of Texas (or eligible for immediate bar admission)1-5 years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on commercial real estate and/or corporate lawStrong academic record and excellent research and writing skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented and organizedPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CRE/Corporate law, e.g., real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, etc.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Clio, and Adobe Acrobat [preferred/required]Experience with AI and LLM within a legal practice is preferredCompensation:This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, and a salary range of $110,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.To Apply:Please submit your resume, cover letter, and law school transcript with the file name shown as "[LAST NAME]_[FIRST NAME] – Resume.pdf" and any additional application items to lawfirmapp@fastmail.com.Equal Opportunity Employer:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
