A growing law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join an engaging Assessment Recovery group in Milwaukee. This entry-to-mid-level position offers substantial direct client contact, public speaking opportunities, and a strong pathway for long-term professional development.

The practice focuses on assessment recovery, obtaining money judgments, judgment execution, bankruptcy matters, foreclosure, and related real property issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned and personally originated cases involving assessment recovery, foreclosure, and money judgments.

• Execute all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings/answers, handling discovery, preparing witnesses, taking/defending depositions, motion practice, and trial conduct.

• Chair client corporate meetings and represent the practice in public speaking events.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients and maintain regular communication regarding case developments.

• Manage a high volume of projects, coordinate with administrative support staff, and handle electronic task lists and billing.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.

• Experience: 0–5 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or civil litigation involving governmental organizations.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal software.

• Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication abilities and a demonstrated history of hard work and dedication.
