Associate AttorneyOur firm is a growing one that is looking for a motivated and skilled attorney to grow with us. We are seeking an experienced litigation associate with a minimum of one (1) year of Texas civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials as well as strong organizational, analytical, writing and verbal skills. Our civil litigation firm needs an Associate to manage part of our large and active case load.Job ResponsibilitiesAttend meetings, mediations, hearings, pre‑trial and trials. Take and defend depositions of witnesses, including corporate representatives and expert witnesses. Research caselaw and statutory authorities. Draft motions, discovery requests and responses, scheduling orders, briefs, and prepare cases for jury trials.
