Senior Auditor - Public Accounting - Hybrid - $80-110k - Wilmington, DEOur client, a well known public accounting firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join our growing assurance practice. In this role, you will work closely with engagement teams to perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse portfolio of clients.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform substantive testing and analytical procedures on low-to-medium risk financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and operating expenses.Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit workpapers that document the procedures performed and conclusions reached in compliance with GAAP and GAAS.Assist team members in evaluating, documenting, and testing client internal controls and business processes.Obtain and organize client financial data, trial balances, and supporting schedules, ensuring all outstanding items are tracked and resolved.Communicate professionally with client accounting personnel to gather information and address routine inquiries.Identify and document accounting or auditing issues encountered during field work and elevate them appropriately to the engagement Senior or Manager.Participate in year-end client inventory observations and physical counts as needed.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.CPA certification required!Experience: Prior experience in public accounting is required.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong working knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data formatting).Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSolid foundational understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting standards.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction.Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple client tasks simultaneously.#J-18808-Ljbffr
