Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to grow commercial electronic security business throughout the Greater Boston market. This is a customer facing sales role focused on access control, video surveillance, and integrated security solutions for commercial customers.

The right person understands how electronic security systems are sold and delivered and can build relationships with customers while identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and closing business.

What You Will Do

• Develop and manage relationships with commercial customers, building owners, facility managers, security leaders, and contractors

• Prospect for new business while expanding existing customer relationships

• Identify opportunities for access control, CCTV, video surveillance, intrusion, and other electronic security solutions

• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand security requirements and develop solutions

• Work with internal engineering, estimating, project management, and field teams to develop accurate proposals

• Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and presentations

• Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through close and project handoff

• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities

• Develop relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, security consultants, property managers, and other industry partners

• Stay involved through project kickoff to ensure the solution sold matches the customer's expectations

• Identify opportunities for service agreements, system upgrades, expansions, and additional technology across existing accounts

What We Are Looking For

• Experience selling commercial electronic security systems

• Strong understanding of access control and CCTV/video surveillance

• Existing relationships within the Greater Boston commercial market are highly valued

• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical security solutions

• Comfortable conducting site walks and discussing systems with customers, contractors, and technical personnel

• Experience preparing proposals, estimates, and scopes of work

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

• Self motivated and capable of managing a sales territory independently

• Ability to work effectively with technical, operations, and project management teams

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Boston area
