Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role is based in Charlotte, NC. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and expanding market presence for Trantex's traffic control and safety products. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotes, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves collaborating with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth sales process, accurate order fulfillment, and high customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager monitors market trends and competitor activity, provides feedback to leadership on growth opportunities, and maintains accurate records of activities and results in CRM systems.QualificationsDemonstrated skills in sales, business development, and account management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Strong relationship‑building, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish trust and long‑term partnerships.Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain technical products and solutions clearly.Experience with pipeline management, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to forecast, report, and optimize sales performance.Understanding of construction, transportation, or traffic safety industries is highly beneficial; familiarity with traffic control products or signage is a plus.Ability to work on‑site, travel locally for client visits, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a collaborative approach and commitment to ethical, inclusive business practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
