What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • Completion of a medical assistant training program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, or a recognized military medical services training program.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant from the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, or equivalent recognized body.
  • At least one year of full-time experience as a CMA in outpatient family practice or primary care within the last 3 years.
  • Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills to prepare exam rooms, maintain stock levels, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Ability to accurately enter and manage patient data electronically.

Additional Skills That Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Experience handling lab and x-ray requisitions.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and technologies.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES).
  • Valid certifications as specified above.
  • Relevant experience working in outpatient family or primary care settings.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Short-term RTO requests within the first 90 days must be noted upfront.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary reimbursements, licensure, certification updates, and other professional development as needed.
  • Adherence to all healthcare standards and protocols, including BLS certification.
