CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Commercial Litigation Secretary for an established full-service law firm in the Houston area. This position plays a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of commercial litigation by preparing legal documents, managing court filings, coordinating schedules, and ensuring critical deadlines are met.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to commercial litigation attorneys.
Draft, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Prepare and electronically file documents with Texas state and federal courts.
Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
Coordinate meetings, travel, and client communications.
Organize and maintain case files and litigation documents.
Assist with discovery, document production, exhibit preparation, and trial materials.
Enter attorney time and support other administrative functions as needed.
Commercial litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm environment.
Experience preparing litigation documents and managing court filings.
Texas legal experience preferred; candidates relocating with strong commercial litigation experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology.
Excellent organizational, proofreading, communication, and multitasking skills.
Experience supporting commercial litigation attorneys is required.
Personal injury litigation experience is not a fit for this position.
