CONTROLLEROur client, a leader in their industry, has an immediate opening for a Controller. Reporting to the President, the Controller is responsible for the following:Manages the finance function and oversees the accounting team of one.Performs budgeting, audits, tax, accounting, and administrative functions for the organization.Responsible for the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.Prepares monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheets for international parent company.Provides timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.Provides financial analysis reports, as needed.Responsible for cash management and performs treasury-related duties.Ensures appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.Prepares documents as required by CPA.Manages and analyses the physical inventory processes and reports.Consults with Human Resources on benefits, 401(k), other benefit matters, etc.Works closely with Production, Sales and Purchasing related to inventory and pricing.Manages one direct report according to company employment policies, procedures and programs.Monitors staff performance, including performance reviews, career planning, discipline, etc., as well as delegates work duties and responsibilities.Position Requirements:BA/BS degree in Accounting.3 or more years experience in accounting/finance with 2 years experience in leadership.Experience and knowledge of US GAAP, ERP system (Enterprise 21) experience is a plus.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.Expert experience level operating computer and office equipment including an excellent working knowledge Excel and Microsoft Office products.Please attach resume (MSWord) to submission.All inquires are highly confidential and go directly to:Pat Rudy | Advanced Personnel ResourcesW 336.272.7720 | patrudy@aprinc.com
