Location: Norco, On-Site
Base Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

We're seeking a hands-on leader who can see both the big picture and the smallest details. This role goes beyond traditional accounting. You'll serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, helping drive profitability, strengthen financial controls, and support long-term growth across multiple business entities.

What We're Looking For
Required Experience

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
Significant experience within the construction industry
Multi-entity accounting and financial management experience
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Experience leading accounting teams and developing talent
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities
Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) preferred

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent professional credential highly preferred

What You'll Own

As Controller, you'll oversee all accounting and financial operations while providing the leadership and strategic insight necessary to support company-wide success.

Financial Leadership & Strategy
Lead all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, costing, and financial reporting activities
Provide executive leadership with meaningful financial analysis, trends, and recommendations
Evaluate company performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Support strategic planning and growth initiatives across multiple entities

️ Construction & Multi-Entity Accounting
Oversee complex, multi-entity accounting operations
Ensure accurate financial reporting across all business units
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidations
Maintain strong internal controls and financial compliance

Reporting & Compliance
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Oversee preparation of financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Coordinate annual audits and work directly with external auditors
Support tax reporting and regulatory requirements

Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Build scalable processes and improve reporting efficiencies
Partner with leadership across Operations, HR, and Executive Management
