The Pines Retirement is looking to add a skilled energetic Cook to their team. 

A nursing home cook prepares nutritious, appetizing meals for residents while adhering to specific dietary restrictions, health regulations, and safety standards. Responsibilities include meal planning, cooking, portion control, and maintaining a hygienic,, compliant kitchen environment in a long-term care facility.

• Menu Preparation: Prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring meals met therapeutic, texture-modified, and religious dietary needs.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintained a clean,, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state, federal, and health department regulations.
• Resident Care: Collaborated with dietary staff to ensure nutritional compliance, often preparing specialized meals for residents with dietary restrictions.
• Culinary Operations: Executed standardized recipes, managed food inventory, and ordered supplies while controlling food waste.
• Documentation: Completed daily food production logs, temperature logs, and meal ticket tracking.
