Requirements / Qualifications

Prepare and serve main entrees, vegetables, salads, bread, desserts, and other food items. Clean facilities and ensure equipment is in working order. Assist in menu-planning. Assist in meeting governmental health and safety standards and guidelines. Pick up, deliver, store, and distribute food and kitchen equipment. In specifically identified positions, assist students with kitchen duties including inventory, planning meals, cooking, serving, and clean up.

Required: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Food Safety Manager Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Desired: 1. Two years of experience cooking in school or industrial setting. Requested Application Attachments:

  • Certificate Copy (Must possess Food Safety Manager Certification. If you do not possess this at the time of hire, you must pass the Food Safety Manager Certification within 60 days of employment)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 current letters desired)
  • Resume
