About the role

Our Culinary team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated and attentive Cooks. In this role, you will work with a team of hospitality partners who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.
What you'll do
- Support the Chef and Sous Chef team in ensuring proper line setup prior to service
- Provide support and prep in all areas of food production and storage in accordance with standards
- Assist in ensuring food is prepped, produced, and plated to quality and timeliness standards
- Communicate needed prep or 86’d items to the Chef after service
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness and sanitation and maintain an organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous line, production, or prep cook experience in an upscale or high volume restaurant, hotel, or banquet kitchen
- Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality
- Familiarity with safe and sanitary food handling and preparation
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Effective Communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to endure abundant physical movement and standing in various work areas
