This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information while driving continuous improvement across accounting processes and systems. The role works closely with personnel across the finance function in international locations, interfaces with external auditors, and provides leadership by supervising a team.Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate month end, quarter end, and year end close processesCreate, maintain, and ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting policiesReview journal entries for appropriate accounting treatment and documentationReview company-wide consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, balance validations, and cash flow consolidationReview trial balance reports to ensure completeness of accounting entriesReview reporting packages and analyses that assist leadership decision-makingSupport subsidiary accounting teams in adhering to reconciliation and compliance standardsStrengthen and maintain a robust internal control environment in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Finance, FP&A, and other business partners to streamline close processes and implement best practices that reduce the days-to-closeSupport the audit process through the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation; coordinate directly with external auditors on accounting matters and positionsLead the identification, escalation, and resolution of complex accounting issuesRecommend and review account, profit center, cost center, internal order, and other financially relevant SAP master data for appropriatenessLeverage ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP ECC, BPC) to improve accuracy, automation, and insightSupport IT and finance leadership to implement and maintain financial systems and toolsSupport initiatives to optimize accounting processes, enhance automation, and improve reliability and speed of financial reportingComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect the company's reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededQualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree7-10 years of relevant work experienceKnowledge of a large scale ERP platformStrong understanding of US GAAP and corporate accounting processesStrong understanding of SOXStrong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance partnersComfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to execute tactical plans while contributing to strategic process improvementsPreferred Qualifications Master's in Accounting or MBACPA (licensed or registered)Public accounting experienceExperience in multi-entity or global organizationSAP ECC or other large-scale ERP platformBusiness Planning & Consolidation (BPC)Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systemsBenefits The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $165,375.00.
