Honoring a commitment to quality materials and timeless design, CHROME HEARTS® now has thirty+ stores across North America, Europe, and Asia, and can be found in the most exclusive boutiques around the world.SUMMARY/OBJECTIVEThe Cost Accountant is responsible for setting up and maintaining accurate process cost information, reconciliation of standards to actual costs, maintenance of perpetual inventory system, participation in month end close as well as assisting in day-to-day operations and reporting requirements. This position will also develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results. This position is expected to work in-person at our HQ complex in Hollywood, CA .ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProcess Standard Cost transactions, for Material, Labor, and Overhead as needed; evaluate and resolve unusual variances.Perform month end Cost Accounting CloseAnalyze inventory valuations and correct as neededOversee Annual PI and correct inventory misstatements.Develop process to limit inventory errors. (Corrective actions)Reconcile detailed inventory reports to general ledgerAssist with annual audit preparations, investigate and resolve findings, discrepancies, and issues of non-complianceEvaluate and create product cost updates for inventory items added by the operations teamMaintain integrity and accuracy of reportingQUALIFICATIONSBS/BA in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA a plusCost accounting in consumer products manufacturing environment preferredStrong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving resultsExcellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including significant relevant experience with inventory managementMust have proactive project management skills4+ years of cost accounting experienceThorough knowledge of cost accounting principles, systems, and proceduresExcellent MS Office and Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organizationMust have positive attitude, confident demeanor, and be willing to tackle challenging tasks under competing deadlines.
