Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Cancer Center Registered Dietitian to provide outpatient nutrition care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. You will be the primary dietitian for the following clinics: Otolaryngology, Hematology and Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion Center. This position will work 40 hours per week with option for hybrid work, with excellent benefits.

 

What You'll Do:

Position will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the ideal candidate will:

 

  • Be independent and reliable with time management skills
  • Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling to patients, including enteral nutrition support
  • Be able to develop strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community
  • Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University for acute care clinical training

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
