One Door North is hiring an experienced line cook (2+ years) to join our established kitchen team. This position is for a cook who wants to work, executes consistently, and takes pride in doing things the right way every time. 

We’re looking for a professional line cook who understands systems, moves with urgency, and executes at a high level during service.

Hours Subject to Change but looking for someone to do shifts Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues

• You understand proper prep techniques and why they matter
  
  
• You know when something is off (broken sauce, over-reduced, poor texture) and fix it
  
  
• You show up on time, ready to work, and support the team
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven line cook experience in a high-volume or chef-driven kitchen
  
  
• Strong fundamentals (sauces, proteins, prep, timing, temperature control)
  
  
• Ability to execute consistently under pressure
  
  
• Clean, organized station habits
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork
  
  
• Coachable, accountable, and respectful

Responsibilities

• Execute menu items to spec with accuracy and consistency
  
  
• Prep correctly and efficiently according to standards
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  
  
• Communicate clearly with BOH and FOH
  
  
• Support service flow, prep, and closing responsibilities
  
  
• Uphold quality and speed during high-volume service
  
  

Pay & Advancement

• wage + tips = $23-$25/hr
