Fuze HR Solutions is partnering with a growing, well-established organization in the insurance and claims administration industry to hire an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading financial operations, driving process improvements, and partnering with executive leadership to support business growth.Position SummaryThe Accounting & Finance Manager will oversee all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and regulatory compliance. This individual will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while providing strategic financial guidance to leadership.The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial OperationsOversee and maintain the general ledger for multiple business entities.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.Reconcile operating accounts and trust accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Monitor funding levels and coordinate with clients regarding replenishment needs.Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions.Prepare and review annual 1099 filings and other required financial reports.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning.Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership.Present financial results, forecasts, and key performance metrics to senior leadership.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, contractual obligations, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.Support regulatory reporting and audit requests.Maintain and improve internal controls and financial governance processes.Leadership & Process ImprovementLead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve operational processes.Evaluate workflows and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Support strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and business planning.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.PreferredCPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.Experience within insurance, transportation, claims administration, third-party administration (TPA), or trust accounting.Familiarity with claims management systems and insurance-related accounting processes.Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.Why Work with Fuze HR?At Fuze HR, we connect talented professionals with some of the top companies in the U.S. We offer weekly pay via direct deposit, a supportive office team, and a genuine commitment to your success.Fuze HR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
