Finance Analyst

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Finance Analyst job in Plano, TX. This CONTRACT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the technology industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. In order to be successful in this position, you must have a BS in Accounting or Finance, six plus years of relevant FP&A experience, and advanced Excel modeling skills. Preference will be given to someone with M&A integration experience.

Finance Analyst Job responsibilities:

• Lead or support annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts aligned with business strategy.
• Analyze monthly results, including P&L, balance sheet, and KPI variance analysis, and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to identify cost efficiencies, revenue opportunities, and investment priorities.
• Build and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.
• Support financial systems, ensure data integrity, and drive process improvement and automation across FP&A.

Qualifications:

• Six plus years of relevant experience
• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel skills including modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Experience with FP&A tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, or Power BI
• ERP knowledge such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

This contract Finance Analyst job is based in Plano, TX. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
