Position SummaryThe Floater Teacher provides flexible classroom support to teachers and children across multiple age groups. This role requires adaptability, positive energy, and a passion for early childhood education. The Floater Teacher helps maintain a safe, educational, and caring environment while ensuring smooth daily operations.
We are currently looking for both Full Time and Part Time Floaters.
Responsibilities- Support lead and assistant teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with meals, snacks, nap time, and daily routines.
- Communicate professionally with children, families, and staff.
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements.
- Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate staffing ratios.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- CDA, ECE coursework, or related early childhood education experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with children of various ages.
- Must pass all required background checks.
