Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Front Desk Representative to join the team at our thriving clinic. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet patients as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking. 

Responsibilities 
  • Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Obtaining authorizations and submitting insurance claims
  • Provide comprehensive contact lens training, including insertion and removal techniques, cleaning and storage procedures, and reinforcement of proper hygiene practices to ensure safe lens wear 
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as Visual field testing, fundus photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), etc.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Familiar with computers and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of vision plans including Vision Service Plan (VSP), is very helpful. Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes a plus.
