Under the direct supervision of a licensed/certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiologic Technologist, the Graduate Cardiovascular Tech supports the daily operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratory by assisting the medical team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program. Must obtain the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within twelve (12) months of hire.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Knowledge Base: Foundational understanding of human anatomy, cardiovascular physiology, and medical terminology.
Physical & Mental Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, wear heavy lead radiation protection aprons, and function calmly in fast-paced, high-stress environments
