POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to oversee all administrative, operations, and managerial aspects of Human Resources and ensure the delivery of effective and efficient human resources services to all departments of the company.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Manages insurance documents, employee benefit plans from insurance providers.

· Manages all open enrollments, arranges for distribution of materials, and communication with employees.

· Guides employees on benefit plan provisions to help employees make informed decisions regarding their benefit elections.

· Manages ESOP

· Administers health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations.

·Provides support and guidance to HR Coordinator when complex issues arise.

· Conducts Employee Onboarding Orientations, employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.

· Oversees the payroll process delegated to the payroll specialist; responsible for ensuring accuracy.

·Processes monthly billings from insurance providers, reviews billing for accuracy.

· Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel, assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains employee handbook, and safety manual.

· Interfaces with the Plant Manager and President for guidance on complex and escalated personnel issues.

· Administers recruitment and retention efforts for the company.

· Participates in development of goals, objectives, deliverables, and systems for the human resources function.

· Administers and maintains compensation programs and performance assessment programs.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Responsible for ESOP census reconciliation, determining plan eligibility, basic trust accounting, preparing

mailings, recordkeeping distributions,1099R’s, and filing of 5500 to IRS on an annual basis.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Five years of experience working in a human resource administrative or generalist capacity, or a combination of education and experience
