HVAC Startup & Diagnostics Technician (Commercial)

We’re expanding our commercial service operations in the NYC Metro area and are hiring both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians. If you enjoy hands-on problem solving and delivering standout customer service, this role is for you.

Your Impact

• Start up, commission, and fine-tune commercial HVAC equipment for air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reliability.
• Represent the company professionally on customer sites throughout the NYC Metro region.

Requirements

• 5+ years of solo commercial HVAC field experience (required for senior-level roles).
• Solid knowledge of commercial A/C, heating, water source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged units.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capability.
• Documented preventative maintenance experience.
• Advanced refrigeration knowledge.
• Controls background a plus.
• Hands-on exposure to Aaon, Climatemaster, Multistack Chiller, ClimaCool, and VRF systems (Samsung, Hitachi, etc.) is a plus.
• Chiller experience is a plus.
• Experience as a manufacturing representative is a plus.
• EPA certification.
• Clean driving record (required).
