About our Client
Our Client is a Boston-based apparel company operating two growing brands across e-commerce, wholesale, and retail channels. They operate in a fast-moving, detail-driven environment where inventory accuracy, operational discipline, and execution quality directly impact business performance. They are hiring an Inventory & Operations Coordinator to support inventory flow, order accuracy, wholesale operations, and retail replenishment across both brands.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in structured operations, understands product and inventory systems, and can manage complexity across multiple channels.
Role Overview
This position sits at the center of their operational ecosystem—connecting e-commerce, wholesale, retail, and warehouse functions.
You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting order lifecycle management, assisting with store replenishment decisions, and maintaining clean execution across systems. This role reports directly to the General Manager, Brand and Operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Inventory & Merchandising Operations
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across SKUs, styles, and channels
- Support replenishment planning across retail and e-commerce
- Track sell-through performance and identify stock risks or gaps
- Assist with seasonal prebooks and inventory planning cycles
- Support purchase order tracking and inventory documentation
Retail Store Replenishment (Partner with Store Manager)
- Support store-level ordering decisions based on sales and inventory data
- Assist in determining size and style allocations for replenishment
- Monitor in-store stock levels and support timely restocking decisions
- Ensure retail inventory reflects business priorities and demand trends
E-Commerce Order Operations (Partner with E-Commerce Specialist)
- Support customer order updates including modifications, cancellations, and corrections
- Process returns and exchanges accurately within system workflows
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies and fulfillment issues
- Maintain data accuracy across Shopify and internal systems
Wholesale Operations (Support GM)
- Enter and maintain wholesale orders in ERP system (ApparelMagic or similar)
- Support prebook entry, tracking, and order validation
- Assist with wholesale account order coordination and updates
- Maintain accurate and timely wholesale order records
Cross-Channel Operations
- Ensure inventory consistency across Shopify, ERP, and retail systems
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies across channels
- Support coordination between warehouse, retail, e-commerce, and wholesale teams Maintain clean, structured operational data across platforms

Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in operations, inventory management, retail operations, e-commerce operations, or wholesale operations
- Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce/ERP systems required Direct experience with inventory management required (replenishment, stock control, or product-level tracking)
- Customer service or order support experience required (preferably e-commerce or retail) Experience working with structured operational workflows in a retail or product-based business
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (data organization, tracking, and reporting)
- Experience with Client Project or similar POS systems strongly preferred
- Strong written communication and professional customer interaction skills
- High attention to detail with proven ability to manage complex data accurately
