E-logic is seeking two experienced, high-performing IT Help Desk Specialists to join our team in supporting the Congressional Budget Office - CBO. You will serve as the advanced, front-line technical support for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware, software, and endpoint management systems across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, image, configure, and register computer equipment (Windows desktops and macOS systems) for deployment following strict security baselines and inventory protocols.
  • Install, maintain, patch, and repair employee hardware, software, and peripheral components across a hybrid environment.
  • Register and configure enterprise mobile devices (iOS, Android) within MDM platforms and provide user training on multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure remote connectivity.
  • Analyze Windows Event Viewer and macOS Console logs to diagnose and resolve complex identity anomalies, network connectivity, and endpoint system failures.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory environments, handling user account provisioning, group policy adjustments, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Enforce Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth principles. Perform secure drive sanitization and destruction using approved cloning and data erasure tools (e.g., BitRaser).
  • Mentor Tier I technicians, create/validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contribute to knowledge base articles, and escalate critical issues to Tier III teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on professional experience).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Proven enterprise-level administration and troubleshooting experience for both Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management and automation platforms such as Ivanti EPM, KACE, Microsoft Intune, or JAMF.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, MFA, and role-based access controls.
  • Solid comprehension of Zero Trust security principles and cloud/hybrid environment structures (AWS-integrated identity solutions preferred).

Preferred Certifications (Highly Desirable):

  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Apple Certified IT Professional
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher)
  • ITIL Foundation
