Olympus Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time, highly motivated IT Support Technician - 2 with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will provide second-level deskside and remote technical support for SEC end users on the Infrastructure Support Services 2 (ISS2) program, resolving complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues while collaborating with senior technicians to drive process improvements.
This position is onsite in Washington, DC.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide second-level technical support for end users, resolving complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Perform workstation imaging, deployment, and configuration of peripherals and enterprise software.
Escalation and Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior technicians and other IT teams to resolve escalated issues and implement process improvements.
- Assist with user training and provide guidance on best practices for IT systems.
SLA Compliance and Documentation
- Manage and update service desk tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of IT support experience in a service desk or desk-side environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship is not permitted.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL Foundation).
- Experience developing technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
