Job Cost Accountant (JCA)Paul Davis is an industry leader in restoration and reconstruction for insurance providers and commercial properties across the United States and Canada. This role supports our franchise by ensuring jobs are costed accurately and according to guidelines.ResponsibilitiesWork with owners and office staff to ensure all jobs are costed properly, accurately, and follow guidelines for the Job Cost Accountant.Establish rapport and maintain communication with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow team members.Manage all phases of job costing and oversee daily operations of the franchise when the owner is not available.Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records.Enter timesheets and process payroll.Request and maintain updated Workplace Safety certificates and insurance coverage for subcontractors.Collect information, ask questions, and monitor various aspects of the business to detect problems.QualificationsKnowledge of accounting, debits and credits.Proficiency in QuickBooks.Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.Valid driver's license with a clean record.Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.Strong organizational and prioritization skills.Desire to continually learn new things and perform in stressful situations.Ability to foster a positive working relationship with other departments.BenefitsFlex schedule to support personal matters.Paid training and monthly cross‑training opportunities.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Referral program.Great culture and team dynamic.Leadership development initiatives.CompensationHourly pay: $27–$35 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
