Prepare the softball facility for all home meets
Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
Motivate athletes
Assist in building the softball program and plan for its future
Qualifications
CPR / First Aid Training, Fundamentals of Coaching Training, Health and Safety for Coaches, and Concussion Training preferred
Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
Within two years of hiring, successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test entitled "Basic Virginia High School League Course" accessible at http://www.asep.com/asep.content/org/VHSL.cfm will be completed.
