The Capital District YMCA is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Assistant. Under the direction and supervision of the Residence Food Service Supervisor this position assists in all aspects of the meal program at the Schenectady Mens Residence.
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST be 18 years of age or older.
The ability and willingness to follow directions.
Proficiency in using kitchen appliances and equipment.
Cooking experience in a quantity food service capacity including catering and banquet preparation, or enrollment or newly graduated from a culinary arts program is preferred.
A current ServSafe certification is preferred.
Scheduled Shifts by Location:
This is a part-time position with starting salary of $16.00 per hour.
