A well-established law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) to support its Business Litigation team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys with a mix of administrative and legal tasks.
Position Overview
As part of a collaborative legal support team, you will assist attorneys with document preparation, e-filing, calendaring, billing coordination, and day-to-day administrative support. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and internal teams in a dynamic litigation setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with state and federal e-filing and document management (iManage)
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain and organize client and case files
- Handle time entry, expense reports, and billing coordination
- Support new matter intake and administrative processes
- Communicate with clients, courts, and internal teams
Qualifications- 34+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
- Law firm experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (iManage)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
