Legal Administrative Assistant Location: Houston, TXEmployment Type: Direct HirePay: $55,000-$65,000 / Year DOESchedule: FlexibleBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with clients daily to provide case updates, answer questions, and address inquiries with professionalism and discretion.Prepare and maintain accurate settlement disbursement statements.Request, track, and organize settlement statements and supporting documentation for client files.Audit and reconcile case expenses to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper recordkeeping.Monitor the status of case documents and keep the Settlement team informed of items sent, received, and outstanding.Perform data entry, document management, and other administrative tasks to support daily operations.Assist with special projects, process improvements, and additional duties as assigned.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal, financial, insurance, collections, or professional office setting.Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and providing excellent client service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
