Job Details Job Location: Houston, TX 77056.The Houston office of Brown Sims is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the team for its busy state and federal litigation (defense) division.Ideal candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience working at a law firm as a legal secretary/assistant, having worked with three or more attorneys. Experience in insurance defense is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, and Adobe is required. Additionally, a working knowledge of online court filings (both state and federal court) pursuant to Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and calendaring court deadlines is essential.
