Our client, a growing defense litigation Houston area law firm, has a newly created opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team. The firm is seeking someone detail-oriented and highly organized to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to multiple attorneys within a fast-paced law office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of court filing procedures and legal documentation. This role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines.RequirementsAssociate's degree or higher from an accredited institutionMinimum of three (3) years of prior experience in a law office setting providing clerical support to multiple attorneysWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules, court filing procedures and electronic filing (e‑filing), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe AcrobatStrong multitasking, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environmentPrior experience supporting multiple attorneys in a litigation-focused environmentFamiliarity with legal case management systemsResponsibilitiesProviding administrative and clerical support to attorneys within the officePreparing and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materialsManaging attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling as neededCreating and maintaining digital and paper legal filesFiling documents with courts in accordance with federal, state, and local rulesAssisting with document management and case file organizationEnsuring accuracy and completeness of legal documentationThis position handles both administrative and billable tasks and is in the office 5 days per week.#J-18808-Ljbffr
