Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repair, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility systems, buildings, equipment, and machinery. This role supports safe and efficient operations by maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades experience preferred.
Working knowledge of:
Electrical systems
Plumbing systems
HVAC systems
Carpentry and general building maintenance
Mechanical repair and preventative maintenance
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance machinery.
Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.
Heavy equipment operation experience preferred where applicable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
