We’re looking for an experienced Manager - District Construction to lead construction, maintenance, and project execution across an assigned district.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands the operational and commercial sides of construction. You’ll oversee project performance, manage P&L, support business development efforts, and lead teams responsible for delivering utility and industrial projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee construction and maintenance projects to ensure work is executed in accordance with contract requirements
• Manage project P&L and maintain awareness of estimates, costs, changes, and overall profitability
• Review and approve project execution strategies across the district
• Provide leadership and support to project teams and frequently staff active job sites
• Oversee large service, maintenance, and outage projects
• Identify and pursue future utility, industrial, service, and maintenance opportunities
• Monitor change management issues and help resolve critical project challenges
• Communicate significant project issues and risks to management
• Ensure projects and personnel comply with company policies and ethics requirements
• Build, develop, and manage construction and project talent throughout the district
• Drive a customer-focused, performance-oriented culture across project teams
• Represent the organization in interactions with organized labor, including jurisdictional matters, pre-job conferences, and grievance processes
• Participate in collective bargaining and apprenticeship committees as needed
• Support contract negotiations and oversee resolution of contract execution issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or technical degree required
• 8+ years of relevant construction and project experience
• 6–8 years of management experience
• Strong leadership and team-development capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
