UCT is looking for a talented Mgr, Regional Sales to join us in Hillsboro, OR!

The Sales Manager drives sales growth within assigned refining, chemical, and petrochemical markets or territories through direct engagement and coordination with local sales channels. This role leads sales strategy development and execution, leveraging technical expertise and process knowledge to achieve revenue and booking goals. The manager builds strong customer relationships, supports channel partners, and identifies new opportunities to expand market presence and deliver business results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote products to achieve monthly order and shipment targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned industry segments and territories.
• Plan, organize, and accurately forecast business activities and results.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, opportunities, and proposals in the CRM system.
• Provide technical and commercial support to independent sales channels, including distributors and resellers.
• Act as liaison between customers, sales channels, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication.
• Drive account penetration and expansion to meet revenue and booking objectives.
• Prepare competitive proposals in response to customer and channel inquiries.
• Manage key accounts to build long-term relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Leverage process knowledge to uncover new applications for existing products.
• Participate in industry forums and organizations to maintain market presence.
• Collaborate with Marketing to assess new opportunities and support product development initiatives.
• Collect market and competitive pricing data to inform pricing strategies.
• Oversee activities of independent selling channels within assigned territory.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Strong sales and account management expertise with ability to drive revenue growth.
• Technical knowledge of fluid solutions and related applications in refining, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for customer and channel engagement.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and manage multiple priorities.
• Skilled in building long-term relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for market assessment and pricing strategy development.

Education, Certifications, Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience with instrumentation in industrial applications related to Refining, Petrochemical, Power, Natural Gas or other industries.
• Detailed knowledge of process instrumentation applications, especially related to flow and analytical systems.
• Experience in supporting and managing independent selling channels - distributors, representatives, integrators or resellers.
• Strong capability in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
