RaceTrac Company Overview

Job Description:

The Office Administrator serves as the liaison between the store employees, regional teams, and various Store Support Center departments, coordinating various issues such as pay, benefits, and conflict management. This individual offers administrative support to the Regional Human Resources and Operations teams.

What You'll Do:

Administrative Duties & Reporting

  • Processes and coordinates a variety of daily reports including, but not limited to: store bonus reports, talent management reports, various payroll reports, and regional reports

  • Serves as the point of contact for regional payroll and resolves payroll issues

  • Orders uniforms and office supplies as needed

  • Maintains active spreadsheets on company initiatives for reporting purposes

  • Ensures the Regional SSC is stocked with appropriate supplies and equipment

  • Fields all calls to the Regional office and ensures he/she is present for all deliveries and walk-in applicants and employees

  • Supports the Hire process by assisting and following up on the verification of employees meeting all requirements for legal employment

  • Ships and receives various packages

  • Maintains and keeps a clean office area


Employee Relations

  • Serves as an employee advocate for Human Resources related matters including, but not limited to: employee relations tasks, training and documentation. Monitors employee concerns, identifies employment trends, and communicates and recommends solutions to leadership to enhance the employee experience at RaceTrac

  • Reviews unemployment claims and organizes/coordinates unemployment hearings

  • Coordinates employee engagement/relations projects including but not limited to Team Member of the Month, anniversary cards, and birthday cards

  • Assists the Field Recruiting team in various ways as needed

  • Coordinates large regional events such as Professional Conduct Training, Leadership Forums, Regional Picnics, and other special events

  • Acts as a liaison between the regional and SSC teams

  • Coordinates and supports SSC guest visits and store training

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-2 years related experience in a related field preferred

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel preferred

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) a plus

  • Experience with Workday preferred

  • Retail experience preferred
