Operations Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a Dallas-based client to identify an Operations Accounting Manager to support manufacturing finance and cost accounting activities. This role will serve as a key business partner to operations, providing financial insights, managing cost accounting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes, including month-end close
• Analyze production costs, variances, and operational performance
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking
• Partner with operations leadership to drive efficiency and cost improvements
• Support internal controls, compliance, and audit processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems (QAD or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Proven ability to manage teams and partner cross-functionally
