Oteris Bakery Co in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team! If you have a love for the craft of baking and a drive to create exceptional pastries and desserts, this is your opportunity to shine in a dynamic and creative kitchen environment.



Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce a wide variety of pastries, desserts and baked goods daily
• Develop and innovate seasonal menus and specialty pastry offerings
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation standards for all baked products
• Monitor and manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards are upheld
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to meet production goals and timelines
• Decorate and plate desserts with precision and artistic flair

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role in a professional kitchen
• Formal culinary or pastry arts training is a plus
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to work early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
• Excellent time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and presentation
