Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
- Processing biweekly payroll for 250+ employees and handling reconciliations
- Fielding employee questions regarding payroll and leave
- Coordinating with managers to make sure time sheets for their direct reports are accurately coded and approved
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll processes
- Facilitating payroll audits as requested
Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:
- 2+ years' experience in a Payroll role
- Experience with ADP or a major HRIS
- Associate degree in Accounting, or experience equivalent (+2 years)
