About the role
Run accurate, on-time payroll for our 400 hourly and salaried employees across five states.
What you will do
Process biweekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and resolve variances
Manage garnishments, deductions and payroll tax filings
Support year-end W-2 processing and audits
Answer employee pay questions quickly and accurately
What you bring
3+ years processing multi-state payroll
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar system
Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
Working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax rules
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Nice to have
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or FPC
Experience with timekeeping integrations
Experience in a high-volume hourly environment
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid, 3 days in office)
Pay range: USD 62,000 - 78,000 per year.
